I've been told this
is a good size for knitting socks.
I
haven't tried knitting with it as it seems pretty fine for me, it is a finer fingering yarn. The yarn has a lovely feel to it
when it is softened when
washed.
It takes a fairly small knitting needle, like size 0-2 depending on how tight
you want your work.

7/2 and the green is a dyed blue/green color. They all work fine together with the 6/2, 7/2 or
8/2. The dyed colors are the same organic
cotton using low impact dyes-considered organic dyes by the industry
This is unmercerized and has a nice twist, it is
strong and soft. It is not as soft as the colorgrown due to the dye process. It
makes great hand towels and table runners.
