                 Lynnae's Place

Art and education have been a major focus in life.  Fiber arts have taken precedence the past 25 years, as this is an art form I could do while homeschooling five children, living in a rural area in Indiana and living simply, applying grass roots philosophies into our lives.   We have grown food organically, homebirthed, homeschooled and contributed some really healthy children to this earth. And now they are reciprocating with wonderfully healthy grand children!

With grass roots also comes a firm foundation in healing using herbs, homeopathy and energy healing.  I have recently begun a page to offer you the different products that I use and am a distributor.   I don't mark up the price on the products but ask you to pay all my expenses.  So check out the new page I'm offering to you as a service to help you get quality products  Healthful living.

My life focus has changed a lot over the years.  I've gained an expertise in fiber arts just from doing it for so many years, having a background in fine art, as well as taking classes and workshops, I'm really pleased to see life progressing and I am beginning a new page in my life working with larger manufacturers to bring quality and unique products to people who are concerned with their quality of life and at reasonable prices.

We have moved to New Mexico and are making our new life in the Mimbres Valley next to the Gila Forest land.   There are a couple of new things happening.  We are putting up a building to house my studio and a small shop.  I am beginning to do some unique jewelry items Calling it Metalwork Design

The Living Space

The clutter of this room depicts a place
Neglected, colors hues and earth tones laid
Aside for contemplated use.  Baskets
Of conventional stuff set in odd places, spinning wheels
Half full with yarn that is dangling into the fuzz.

Oak baskets made by my own hands and that
Of the master craftsman grace this room’s disarray.
Dried flowers yarn and seed a wait their destiny
Of useful purpose ~  garden  ~  loom or  ~ wheel.

The state of clutter reflects my mind. I reach
For glories neglected long ago.  The tasks
Once left in search of knowledge laid temptingly
Before me by skilled hands far greater than mine.

And peace far stiller than any I had had. A home
Left in disarray far greater than my mind.

We have a lovely supply of organically grown naturally colored cotton yarns, that are really fun to work with.

I'm adding some dyed organic cotton and some wonderful silk yarns.

We've added silk fibers as well as cotton to our selection of quality wool, bamboo and tencel tops.

And a new line of exotic fibers such as milk top, soybean top, corn top, seacell and seacell/merino top.

There are new items added to the Gallery for sale.

Our new Chamomile Connection Totes are a way to stop using so much paper and plastic!

They are priced to make them more available for you.

Our fringe twisters and brass drop spindles, and walnut buttons are handmade and guaranteed workmanship.

We are also beginning our own line of hand painted yarns and spinning fibers!
